LOS ANGELES, CA — On Friday, June 21, 2024, damian israel shiner of THE DISPLAYERS, performed an exciting set of original music (and one cover) for the dedicated and attentive crowd at the historic and world-renowned club, Whisky a Go Go, on the Hollywood Sunset Strip. This appearance marked the return of shiner to the SoCal scene—it had been since well before the pandemic that shiner was making regular mini-tours throughout the region. The opportunity presented itself and shiner grabbed the chance!
His 30-minute set included (start to finish): peace, deny, ananya, Mr. Brightside, his latest single change, song, and don’t. The attending crowd was a wide mix of longtime fans, recent fans, old friends, and new friends (plus, friends of friends), and it was clear from their response that shiner played the “hits”.
The entire performance was recorded and once edited, mixed, and mastered, it will be available through all of the streaming and downloading platforms.
